These terms describe use of Film Standard and filmstandard.app, provided by 1881 Digital, LLC.

Apple’s distribution terms

App Store versions are subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and applicable Apple service terms. Prerelease versions distributed through TestFlight are subject to Apple’s TestFlight terms. Those terms govern the relevant Apple distribution and license.

Your photographs

Your photographs remain yours. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to edit, export, and share the content you use with Film Standard. Do not use the app or website for unlawful purposes or to infringe someone else’s rights.

Editing, storage, and backups

Film Standard provides creative film interpretations, not a guarantee of an exact chemical film response. Results can vary with the source photograph, device, format, and operating system. Camera and RAW capabilities depend on your hardware and Apple’s format support.

Reversible Photos edits are designed to retain the original through Apple Photos. Device failures, library changes, other editing apps, and interrupted operations can affect your work. Keep independent backups of important photographs and review outputs before deleting source files. Local drafts and history may be lost if you remove the app.

Availability and prerelease software

Film Standard’s App Store release is coming soon. Features and availability may change before release. Prerelease software can be incomplete or contain errors; use it only with appropriate backups and in accordance with Apple’s beta terms. This website does not promise a release date or a particular future price or purchase offering.

App and website content

The app, website, branding, and related materials belong to 1881 Digital or their respective owners. Film names and other third-party marks belong to their owners. Film interpretations do not imply endorsement by or affiliation with film manufacturers. You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Apple’s applicable license and service terms contain additional provisions for app use.

Privacy and changes

Our privacy policy explains how the app and website handle information. We may update these terms as the product changes. The date above identifies this version.
